What is my “story” limited to?
Simply put, anything! Your beautifully captured story could be your life history, your childhood, how you met your significant other, your feelings on religion/politics… anything. Most commonly, people want to share who they are and why they are the way they are (what defined their lives). This is an opportunity for us to capture these memories and thoughts in a way that many others can enjoy through time.

What takes place during the pre-shoot meeting?
This is an opportunity for our team to get to know you better. Based on your story, we have a list of predefined questions that we will start with. Through the course of the meeting, we will refine that list so that it’s tailored just for you and your story. If needed, we can also reach out to family members and friends to solicit their input. By the end of the meeting, we will have formed a good relationship that will allow the actual filming to be smooth, painless and above all, comfortable for all. This allows for the ultimate filming experience.

Are final deliverables really stored forever?
Yes! We use state-of-the-art archiving technology to ensure that not only the final deliverable is stored forever, but the original raw files as well. This allows us to make changes years from now, should the need arise.

What is the difference between “Delivery via Download” and “Online Streaming”?
Delivery via download is a one-time link that allows you yo download your final deliverable and share how you want. Sharing large video files can be cumbersome to work with, so we offer an Online Streaming option (with or without added security), which gives you a link to share with others to stream your video. Many find this option much easier when sharing your video on social networks.

What are my limitations when selecting a filming location?
Some clients choose to film their story in their own home, which can add an element of their personality to the video. Others choose other locations for various reasons. We can film your story anywhere you want. This could be in a studio with props for a warm and intimate feel, this could be in a forest for those who are passionate about the outdoors, this could be on a boat for those willing to tell their story on the open sea. Just about anything is possible (though travel fees may apply).

I want to have my story filmed without my children or others knowing. Is this possible?
Absolutely. We offer discrete engagements which allow us to film your story in a way that no one else will know. This is a great way to offer your video as a surprise other them at a later date.

What if we want the setting to be another location but can’t afford to pay for travel?
We use the latest technology in every facet of our workflow, including green screen. We have an in-studio green screen that allows us to put you in any setting you want, without the extra cost of travel to remote locations.
